MISSION & VISION:
S. D. P. College of Teacher Education, Tihu was established in 1994 with a view to imparting training to young graduates and teachers educators to derive the best use of the concerned persons for performing teaching-learning activities in a useful manner in secondary level of education. The authority of the institution, had the ingenuity to see at the distant horizon a beautiful and transparent educational activities in this area, so that the pass-outs get them selves equipped to meet the challenges of the time. Hence, our motto is “Quality is Our Motto, Success is Our Target.”
OBJECTIVES:
Graduates and master degree holders in Arts, Science and Commerce of this locality and outside are eligible to get admitted to this institution of teacher education. It is expected that the pass-outs of this institution can render quality teaching in the classroom of the secondary schools of this locality and outside. The art of teaching, scientific and efficient, has been the call of all educational institutions and we think, we hope the very aspiration would be met.
LOCATION:
The College is located in a central place of the Tihu Town having a beautiful and pleasant green environment. It is merely 5 minutes walk from the Tihu Railway. Station and 30 minutes walk from the National Highway 31. Mention may be made here that this is the only teacher of Training Institution Nalbari (Assam). Communication to and from this institution from all central places of the state is very easy.
